Advantech presents the WebOP-3000 devices, a series of operator panels for automation technology. An ARM Cortex A8 processor (Texas Instruments) reduces energy consumption (7 W) and works faster than its predecessors. Interfaces for CANopen, Modbus and Ethernet are available. The front cover of the panel complies with protection class IP66, the housing is made of aluminum. A level 4 ESD provides protection against electrostatic voltage peaks. Voltage fluctuations from the mains are also protected: All I/O ports have insulation protection. Protection against data loss in the event of a power failure is provided by a 128 Kbyte FRAM memory that does not require a backup battery. The standard operating memory is equipped with 256 MByte SLC flash memory ex works and can be expanded to 512 MByte. Five different screen sizes are available - 7, 8, 10.1, 12 and 15 inches. The Windows CE 6.0 Embedded operating system is pre-installed.
