The Acopos P3 from B&R is available in 1-, 2- and 3-axis versions. The sampling time is a minimum of 50 µs for the complete controller cascade. It covers a power range from 0.6 to 24 kW or 1.2 to 48 A. According to the manufacturer, the space requirement is reduced by 69 %. A virtual motor position encoder eliminates the need for encoders, encoder cables and evaluation units in the servo amplifier. A power panel, any number of Acopos servo drives and X20 I/Os provide an automation solution. Safety functions in accordance with SIL3/PLe can be integrated on request. The Safety Limited Torque (SLT) and Remanent Safe Position (RSP) functions have been added. The system has 14 safe motion functions based on openSafety. The Acopos P3 can be used globally thanks to its support for all common network types such as TN, TT, IT and TN-S with earthed phase conductors.
