The DT 7837 embedded solution from Data Translation is a generation of ARM-based, autonomous measuring devices designed for sound and vibration measurement technology. The module has 24-bit measurement technology and an ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 2 GB of flash memory, a USB, Ethernet and RS232 interface and an SD card slot. It can therefore be used independently of a PC. Four 24-bit A/D inputs with switchable IEPE sensor supply allow simultaneous data acquisition at 102.4 kS/s each. The measured values can be further processed onboard in real time. An analog 24-bit output, a tacho input as well as eight digital inputs and outputs, counter/timer and various trigger functions complete the module. All functions are supported by APIs, which simplify the development of your own embedded applications.
