Pyroview 512N thermal imaging camera from Dias Infrared
© Dias Infrared
With the Pyroview 512N, Dias has developed a thermal imaging camera with a continuous measuring range of 600 to 1,500 °C. The infrared camera with 512 x 384 pixels has a measuring frequency of 60 images per second. For particularly high spatial resolutions, the Pyroview 768N thermal imaging camera is available with 768 x 576 pixels and 50 images per second. Both camera types operate in the near infrared range (NIR) from 0.8 to 1.1 µm in order to reduce the influence of emissivity on temperature measurement accuracy. In addition to the standard measuring range of 600 to 1,500 °C, there is also the option of a continuous measuring range of 1,400 to 3,000 °C. The thermal imaging cameras are set to one of these two measuring ranges at the factory. Depending on requirements, the cameras are installed in an aluminum compact housing (IP54) or a robust stainless steel industrial housing (IP65) with water cooling, air purge and protective window. The new infrared cameras are used in process control and monitoring as well as in quality control.
