The plug-in mounting concept of the FCST flow sensors from Turck allows the sensor unit to be freely aligned within the flow channel - regardless of how the process connection is mounted. This facilitates directional installation. Using screw-in adapters in common industrial thread sizes, the user can mount the flow sensors on different pipe diameters. The sensor adapter system can withstand process pressures of up to 100 bar. Another feature of the mounting concept can be seen in flow sensors with integrated evaluation electronics: according to the supplier, the LED display of these compact devices is always easy to read thanks to the freely adjustable sensor unit and the potentiometers for setting the switching point or the analog signal always remain within easy reach.
The IP67 sensors monitor flow velocities of up to 300 cm/s and are available in stainless steel or plastic housings with a switching or analog output. The portfolio also includes types with additional temperature monitoring (FTCST) and with a remote sensor.
