The SBSI vision sensor from Festo is easy to operate, even without expert knowledge. It is available in two model series: On the one hand, it works as a code reader for 1D/2D codes, even with hard-to-read directly marked data matrix codes (e.g. needled or lasered). It also performs simple quality checks such as completeness checks or position checks. The all-in-one devices have integrated optics and lighting and are available with different focal lengths and lighting colors depending on the model.
