The Yokogawa wireless multi-protocol adapter supports communication based on the HART and RS485 Modbus standards. When the adapter is mounted on a wired field instrument or wired analytical sensor, the instrument and sensor can be used as ISA100-compliant wireless devices. The adapter is suitable for all types of wired field instruments and analytical sensors commonly used in industrial plants, including those for monitoring temperature, pressure, liquid level, vibration or gas detection, and is compatible with all Yokogawa and third-party devices. The VDI Directive 2185-compliant battery in the adapter also powers the field instrument and analytical sensor, eliminating the need for wiring.
