Siko's portfolio includes redundant draw-wire encoders that meet the safety requirements in the overall system in accordance with SIL2 and Performance Level d. The SG32, SG42 and SG62 draw-wire encoders are used in forklift trucks and AGV systems to safely detect the lift mast height, among other things. The devices offer increased safety thanks to a special, fully redundant sensor system: two completely separate sensor systems detect the absolute position and output it separately as analog signals. With measuring lengths between 3 and 6 m, the draw-wire encoders are particularly suitable for the precise detection of lift mast heights on driverless transport systems. Versions for a maximum of 15 m are available for forklift trucks.
