Werma has developed an LED signal tower with a polyamide housing especially for use in clean rooms and in the hygiene and food sector. The compact Cleansign has no grooves or seams where dirt can accumulate, and the connection element and mounting bracket are made from a single casting to ensure a hygienic design. The column is attached and connected using a clip. This means that the housing is completely closed and drill holes are avoided. Thanks to LED technology, the Cleansign is maintenance-free and, according to Werma, has a service life of 50,000 hours. The integrated buzzer also ensures that all persons out of sight are alerted. The bevel of at least 3° required by the "European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group" (EHEDG) has been implemented in the Cleansign: The 30° slope of the upper part of the housing and angle ensures rapid drainage of liquids, quick cleaning and good visibility.
