The N10 family from Noax has a new member: the dual-core motherboard with a clock speed of twice 1.86 GHz now has a variant with a 1.2 GHz Celeron processor. It is specially designed for applications in industrial environments where stability and robustness are more important than the speed of the processor performance. For fast communication with peripheral devices, the manufacturer has integrated the powerful PCI Express bus standard, while data is transferred between the hard disk and processor using the SATA standard. The advantages: a higher data transfer rate and the ability to exchange data carriers during operation. For the network connection, the new board can use a Gigabit Ethernet interface and thus quickly exchange data between the IPC and other computers or devices in the network. Powerful, fast and energy-saving DDR3 modules are used for the main memory. The graphics performance of the new board has also been improved. Like all Noax boards, the N10C has a microcontroller unit (MCU). It automatically performs numerous control and statistical functions. These include counting operating hours, temperature monitoring and backlight control. The MCU can be adapted to individual customer requirements.
