The
MFU 12 and
MFU 14 digital multifunction transmitters from Afriso are freely programmable. They have two analog outputs and, depending on the version, two or four potential-free limit value relays. All parameters are entered directly on the transmitter or alternatively using the optionally available 'MFU 03-S' configuration software. Bipolar current and voltage inputs as well as a potentiometer input in 3-wire technology are available as inputs. A 2-/3-wire transmitter supply is also integrated. All inputs are electrically isolated from the auxiliary voltage and the current and voltage outputs, whereby the two analog outputs can be scaled differently and used simultaneously. For switching tasks, the MFU 12 has two relay outputs and the MFU 14 has four relay outputs, selectable work/rest principle functions, hysteresis, window or trend functions as well as pick-up and drop-out delays. The measuring transducers are housed in a standard rail housing with an integrated multi-colored (R/G/B) illuminated LC display for displaying the various operating modes; the illumination can be switched off. The measured variables can be freely configured and scaled by specifying the range and unit from a list or by a self-defined unit in the display ranges 0 to 9999 digits.
