The Pyrosmart system, which is based on infrared thermography, detects fires at an early stage. The system from Orglmeister consists of an infrared thermal imaging camera and a daylight camera, which are housed together in a special casing. A mechanical swivel device, which is equipped with robust special gears, enables the detection of a very large area, according to the manufacturer. The highly sensitive thermal imaging camera continuously scans the entire monitoring area and can detect temperature anomalies in real time. The recorded thermal images are compiled into a detailed infrared panoramic image using software. Any area within the panoramic image can be zoomed in to precisely check the temperature there. The entire system can be controlled via a touchscreen interface. Users can set freely selectable temperature thresholds; an alarm is automatically triggered if these values are exceeded. The system has an Ethernet interface and an alarm output.
