Sophie Weiler (19), Timo Morath (19) and Michael Böhler (19) from near Waldshut-Tiengen want to make life easier for parents. Their four-seater baby carriage has an electric motor that drives two wheels via 3D-printed adapters. They placed the battery under the seats and the throttle control on the handle of the stroller, which is particularly helpful when going uphill. An additional disc brake ensures safe braking maneuvers. According to Jugend forscht, the young designers already have their first prospective customers.
