Weidmüller offers various migration components for all common PLC systems, for example front adapters for Siemens 'S5' and Schneider Electric 'TSX'. The front adapters prevent wiring errors when replacing PLC systems and keep system downtimes to a minimum during the migration process. Users also receive pre-assembled cables and front adapters that are matched to the application and tested to ensure error-free connection of the new PLC. The front adapter for the Siemens S5-115, together with pre-assembled system cables, enables safe migration from old S5-115 systems to other PLC systems or the 'u-remote' I/O system from Weidmüller. Migration from old Schneider systems to other PLC systems and Weidmüller 'u-remote' is also possible with the 'BLK' front adapter and the pre-assembled system cables. The front adapter is connected to the field side via plug connectors in accordance with IEC60603-13/DIN41651 20 p. The operating voltage is 30 V(AC)/60 V(DC), the total operating current adds up to 3 A. Each front adapter can be operated in the temperature range from -25 to +50 °C.
