Softing presents the latest version (V 4.03) of Datafeed OPC Suite. Thanks to the 'Datafeed Exporter' application, symbols can be exported directly from a Siemens TIA Portal project (version 13 or 13 SP1) and then imported into the suite. The OPC client applications receive the information for symbolic addressing from the integrated OPC or OPC UA server of the software suite and can then access the data points of the respective data blocks via the symbolic name. This eliminates the previously necessary time-consuming manual configuration of the data points. Newer Siemens controllers, such as Simatic S7-1200 and -1500, as well as older controller types such as Simatic S7-300 and -400 are supported.
