43 COM module for Powerlink from Kunbus, EPSG
© EPSG
The COM module for Powerlink from Kunbus enables an Ethernet-based connection without interfering with the PCB design. The 85 mm × 65 mm module can be plugged onto existing control boards of sensors or actuators or connected via cable. On the application side, there is a Modbus RTU, a shift register interface, a dual-port RAM interface and a programmable script interpreter. Two RJ45 connectors act as an interface to the electrically isolated Powerlink network. The node address is set using two rotary switches. The LEDs used for diagnostic purposes are integrated. The module can process 512 bytes of input and output data each. The interface module is designed for cycle times of 250 µs. The COM platform has a standardized pin assignment, which means that the modules can be used as option boards for various fieldbus or network protocols.
