Lapp presents the Skintop Hygienic stainless steel cable gland for use in food production or the pharmaceutical industry. Its rounded shape without corners and angles and the tight tolerances during production mean that no residue can accumulate. The material of the cable gland is stainless steel class V4A (1.4404). It is certified by ECOLAB and the material is used for the US market in accordance with FDA and NFS standards. The cable gland is approved for direct contact with food in production and is currently being tested by the Weihenstephan Institute for EHEDG Hygienic Design certification.
