Renesas Electronics introduces its new R-IN32M3 Series Remote I/O Trial Kit. This kit is a hardware and software reference solution for the development of remote I/O devices commonly used for I/O operations in automation networks. The reference design solution is designed to provide building blocks and development environments to further reduce design time for system developers. It enables the creation of industrial applications as reference designs. According to Renesas, the new solution reduces the number of development steps required from the start of product development to the completion of a design prototype by more than 60%. This process consists of hardware and software design as well as certification. The new solution supports the EtherCAT protocol and is available immediately.
