Schildknecht has expanded its business model with its 'Dataeagle' devices for radio-based industrial communication: the DE 7000 M2M gateway is now part of a complete solution that, in addition to setting up the communication channels and providing cloud storage space (for example on 'Amazon S3'), also includes a user-specific platform for data display, data evaluation and global data monitoring. The expansion of the solution to include a globally accessible data platform was realized through Schildknecht's cooperation with the company m2m-soft. m2m-soft has developed a flexible software platform that bundles and visualizes data transferred from the field level to the server or its database on a web portal in the form of a 'cockpit'. The data is delivered from the field via m2m cockpit connectors such as the DE 7000 M2M gateway.
