The Lobix NG alarm modem router from Lucom monitors analog and digital values and reports deviations from defined (limit) values via SMS, e-mail, fax or voice. The messages can be forwarded using alarm chains. In response to an alarm message, switching operations can be triggered via the router. The alarm-triggering event, the alarm chains and the triggering of the switching processes are configured via the 'Lobix' portal. Hierarchical access rights ensure that only authorized users can make configurations. Commissioning the router is simple: an SMS requests the configuration from the portal and installs it automatically. The router can also be used as a stand-alone device without a connection to the portal. Configuration is then carried out via an Ethernet connection with a PC (web interface) or via the industrial-grade device display with menu-guided user interface.
