The Ölflex Chain 809 SC CY cable is designed for use in energy supply chains. With a conductor cross-section range of 6 mm² to 240 mm², it now strengthens the product range of single-core cables in the Basic Line performance class up to two million alternating bending cycles for power circuits of inverter-driven motors. According to the manufacturer, the close-meshed, tinned copper shielding braid ensures EMC compliance even in critical environments with permanently flexible guide chain operation up to 10 meters of travel. The cable is oil-resistant in accordance with DIN EN 50290-2-22 and, thanks to the UV-resistant, black PVC outer sheath, is also suitable for outdoor use, taking into account the temperature range. The VW-1 and FT1 flame-retardant cable for factory cabling with operating voltages of 600 V (UL/CSA) or 0.6/1 kV (IEC) can be easily used in the drag chain by export-oriented machine and plant manufacturers.
