The Sierra Wireless AirPrime SL series of embedded wireless modules offers intelligent connectivity for use in industrial applications. The PIN-compatible LGA housing for GSM, GPRS, EDGE and UMTS with dimensions of 25 mm × 30 mm × 2.35 mm enables fully automated manufacturing in high-volume production. The modules operate in an extended temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. The series is available with various radio interfaces (AI) such as EDGE, HSDPA, HSPA+, CDMA 1xRTT and EV-DO. According to the provider, the user-friendly application environment and cloud-based device management also help to accelerate M2M deployment.
