For measuring inclination angles, ifm electronic offers an inclination sensor with high accuracy over the entire angle range in two axes. The sensor offers a temperature drift of ±0.002 °K. In addition, the
mobile sensor type JN has zero-point teach as well as adjustable counting direction and cut-off frequency. The sensor is designed, for example, for the leveling of mobile machines (2-axis position control and zero point leveling), the automatic tracking of solar panels or for the leveling of wind turbines. As the zero point, counting direction (±180° or 0 to 360°) and cut-off frequency for a stable output signal (20, 10, 5, 1, 0.5 Hz) can be set, the sensor can be variably adapted to different applications. The bus-capable sensor with CANopen interface enables complete CAN integration in accordance with the CANopen CiA DS-301 and CiA DSP-410 communication profiles. The connection is made via M12 plug connections with LEDs; the terminating resistor can be switched on as an option. The device has E1 approval and outputs the signals as plumb or Euler angles, among other things.
