The assessment of their competitiveness in an international comparison was predominantly positive among the companies surveyed (1 = very poor to 5 = very good). The only downward outliers were companies from the nuclear and hydropower technology sectors. The VDI perceives the once again positive assessments in the lignite sector as a short to medium-term bonfire, which is still supported by the political framework conditions.
