Kyocera has developed the TCG121WXLPAPNN-AN20 display especially for industrial applications. The 12.1 inch TFT has an aspect ratio of 16:10 with 1280 x800 pixels. It offers a brightness of 500 cd/m² with a contrast ratio of 750:1 as well as horizontal and vertical 170° viewing angles. It operates in the extended temperature range of -20 to +70 °C and is robustly built. The 277.7 mm x 182.5 mm x 9.8 mm module has a built-in LED driver for integration, meaning that no additional components are required for the backlight. The LVDS interface enables control via a 20-pin connector. The manufacturer offers various options for controlling the display (embedded PCs or LCD controller boards) or touch panels (PCAP or resistive) as well as bonded protective glass.
