The Almemo 710 data logger from Ahlborn is operated via icons on a color 5.7-inch touchscreen. Software wizards and help texts are available in pop-up windows. Measurement, peak, average and limit values can be displayed in lists, bar charts and line graphs. The device is packaged in a console housing with rubber protection and can be mounted on a wall using a top-hat rail. For evaluation on a PC, the measurement data is stored in an 8 Mbyte flash memory, which can also be activated as a ring memory. If the memory space becomes too small at a measuring speed of up to 1,000 measurements per second or for autonomous long-term recording in sleep mode, external memory with a MicroSD card can simply be plugged in. Ten galvanically isolated, independent measurement inputs allow different sensor types to be connected to the device, whereby existing sensors can also be connected to the device.
