ESR Pollmeier presents a new generation of servo controllers: The series is available for rated currents from 0.8 A to 32 A (64 A peak current) when connected to 230 V or 3 × 400/480 V (wide-range inputs). Drive packages up to 85 Nm nominal torque can be realized, in combination with direct drives (torque motors) even more. With Ethercat, Modbus/TCP, CANopen and Profinet, the servo controllers cover the most important communication interfaces in the field of Industrial Ethernet and fieldbuses and can be combined with a wide range of controllers and operator terminals. Function blocks simplify programming on the control side in single-axis and multi-axis applications. Simple drive tasks can be implemented with the positioning control integrated in the servo controller or, for example, by connecting a Raspberry Pi. A universal interface for the motor position encoder enables the connection of resolvers as well as absolute and incremental encoders with Hiperface, EnDat or Biss interface.
