Matrix Vision has added the global shutter CMOS sensor 'IMX174' from Sony to its portfolio and offers it with a high interface bandwidth: In addition to Dual Gigabit Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, the sensor is also available for USB 3.0. The 1/1.2-inch sensor with a resolution of 1936 x 1214 pixels achieves a full frame rate of 128 fps in burst mode in the dual GigE version of the mvBlueCougar-XD camera, a full frame rate of 52 fps in the GigE version of the mvBlueCougar-X and a full frame rate of 162 fps in the USB 3.0 version of the mvBlueFox3. With the dual GigE family 'mvBlueCougar-XD', the net bandwidth is increased to 240 Mbit/s by means of link aggregation of the two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, while an internal image memory of 256 Mbytes ensures transmission by buffering. The GigE family 'mvBlueCougar-X' has smart features such as flat field correction, color correction and white balance, which can be executed directly on the camera and thus relieve the host system. The camera is compatible with the GenICam and GigE Vision standards. Finally, the USB 3.0 family 'mvBlueFox3' offers an integrated 256 Mbyte image memory, an FPGA with smart features for image processing as well as two digital inputs and four digital outputs. The camera is compatible with the GenICam and USB3 Vision standards. With the 'mvBlueCougar-XD' dual GigE family, the net bandwidth is increased to 240 Mbit/s by means of link aggregation of the two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, while an internal image memory of 256 Mbytes ensures transmission by buffering. The camera controls electrical lenses and has four opto-isolated inputs with current limiters as well as four robust high-side semiconductor relay outputs. The GigE family 'mvBlueCougar-X' has smart features such as flat field correction, color correction and white balance, which can be executed directly on the camera and thus relieve the host system. The 64 Mbyte image memory ensures loss-free image transfer and also serves as a buffer. The camera is compatible with the GenICam and GigE Vision standards.
