Rittal is introducing 144 variants of the TS IT rack system for the different requirements in the IT and industrial sectors and now also has 20 types for use in industrial environments in its portfolio. The enclosures for industrial use comply with protection class IP55 and are available in various equipment variants. Users can, for example, expand an enclosure with a 19-inch level and a mounting plate or opt for the version with a mounting plate only. The company is also focusing on two different, compatible 19-inch technologies for the IT cabinet: in addition to the previously available cabinet, which can be mounted using snap-in technology and has a load capacity of up to 1,500 kg, there is now also a 19-inch mounting frame in various dimensions. It enables more flexible cabling and offers space for copper cables or fiber optics, Ethernet or Fibre Channel. Its maximum load capacity is specified as 1,000 kg.
