Balluff is strengthening its family of IO-Link master modules: The new Profinet module is an IO-Link master with 16 IO-Link ports. In combination with so-called sensor/actuator hubs, up to 272 input/output signals can be processed. This allows users to exploit the Profinet capacity right down to the intelligent devices in the field. The 16-fold master has a display for information and additional diagnostics as well as a switch for setting up a Profinet line structure. The integrated web server provides users with a real display of the module with all current statuses for extended diagnostics.
