TE Connectivity is launching robust industrial RJ45 connectors onto the market - an industrial connector with a plastic housing and a version for RJ45/fiber optics with a metal housing. Both connectors are of the push-pull variant 14 type. The IEC 61076-3-117 standard interface ensures fast connection and disconnection, while the robust connection technology allows flexible field installation without special tools. The push-pull mechanism creates a secure, hermetically sealed plug connection. All common cable diameters can be used with the connectors. In addition to RJ45, the version with metal housing also supports fiber optic cables. Thanks to the metal housing, the RJ45/LWL connector can withstand environmental conditions such as knocks, vibrations and high temperatures and is also resistant to chemicals, oil and sparks. Both versions can be used in the temperature range from -40 to +70 °C.
