Delphin has added the ADGT 3.0 I/O module with eight universal analog inputs to its message device series. All analog inputs are galvanically isolated from each other up to 650 V(DC). Additional isolating amplifiers can be dispensed with by using the I/O module. In combination with the galvanically isolated power supply and the interfaces, the message devices are fully protected against interference potentials and earth loops. The safety of the message devices is further enhanced by an internal data logger memory and software channels that enable monitoring functions. A message device with 16 galvanically isolated analog inputs measures 200 mm × 90 mm × 110 mm. Each channel can be used for measuring mV or mA signals, any thermocouples or Pt100 sensors. The universal inputs make it possible to record any physical variables (temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc.). In addition to the differential input for Pt100 measurement, the galvanic isolation includes the reference currents provided by the message device.
