With its 'Parallel Data Generation Framework' (PDGF), the Passau-based start-up Bankmark offers the possibility of generating test data for any database system and big data applications (see image). The generated test data corresponds to the patterns of the existing data in the respective system and thus enables the functionality and optimization of large IT systems to be checked. Based on this, the Bankmark team has also developed software that can be used to carry out a comprehensive speed measurement of database systems.
