Joining forces: Previously only active as a cooperation, the Fieldbus Foundation, PNO, OPC Foundation, FDT Group and Hart Foundation are founding an independent company - the FDI Cooperation LLC. "The founding of the company ensures clear rules between the individual development partners and will accelerate the completion of the FDI technology," emphasizes Achim Laubenstein, Managing Director of the FDI Cooperation. The rights to the tools and software stacks of the FDI technology (Future Device Integration) will be transferred to the participating companies and organizations for a period of three years after the development work has been completed.
