Camera models with CMOS sensors from e2v are now available for the mvBluefox3 USB3 vision camera from Matrix Vision. Thanks to the uniform design basis of these sensors, several different model variants are available: The first camera in 1/1.8 inch offers 1.3 MPixel in both color and grayscale variants; its resolution is 1280 × 1024 pixels. The pipelined global reset shutter achieves a maximum frame rate of 60 Hz at full sensor resolution. The 1.3 MPixel camera is also available as a near-infrared (NIR) version. The sensor is particularly suitable for applications with difficult lighting conditions. The third camera is a 1/1.8-inch version with a 2 MPixel color and grey sensor. This camera has a resolution of 1600 × 1200 pixels. The sensor also achieves a maximum frame rate of 50 Hz at full sensor resolution. The 39 mm × 39 mm × 24 mm camera is equipped with an integrated 256 MByte image memory and an FPGA with smart features for image processing as well as two digital inputs and four outputs. It is compatible with GenICam and USB3 Vision.
