Turck introduced the
LI-Q25 linear position sensor in 2009. This inductive linear position sensor has now been further developed for the highly dynamic motion control market. A new electronics architecture increases the effective output rate of the sensor from 1 to 5 kHz. In combination with the short signal propagation time (130 µm) and the high-resolution SSI output, the inductive linear position sensors achieve the performance of potentiometers, but without their disadvantages.
