Intuitive robot programming from ArtiMinds Robotics
©
The Karlsruhe-based company Artiminds Robotics, founded in August 2013, came second in the start-up prize with its intuitive robot programming. The software suite developed enables end users to program complex robot movements and tasks themselves. The software is platform-independent and is designed to enable a new generation of flexible industrial robots. If a robot arm is to perform a gripping and rotating movement, for example, a human first guides the robot arm. The software then generates a movement program from this. This movement data can be displayed with the help of 3D graphics and, if necessary, modified manually or optimized automatically. The robot arm can also react flexibly to sensor data, which is useful when processing parts whose dimensions are not always exactly the same, for example.
