The AVL-3100 from ICP Germany is an embedded vehicle computer for use in special, transport or fleet vehicles. The computer records vehicle data via its OBD-II interface and position data from the integrated GPS module as well as moving images from four video channels. It can also connect additional devices via RS232, USB and Bluetooth. The computer communicates wirelessly via WiFi and also transnationally via 3.75G with a dual SIM card. The Windows Embedded Standard 7 system, which is powered by an Intel Celeron M 847W and a 16 Gbyte SSD, is supplied with power via a 9 to 36 V (DC) connection that can be coupled to the ignition. The vehicle computer is e-Mark certified and has an operating temperature of -20 to +70 °C.
