The managed or unmanaged Ethernet switches Ha-VIS 4100 from Harting for use in rail vehicles enable the creation of gigabit backbone structures with their two gigabit ports. The ten Ethernet ports (two GbE and eight FE) are designed as vibration-proof M12 ports. In addition to the by-pass functionality for managed and unmanaged, the managed switch also supports an external configuration memory. In addition to M12 screw connectors, the switches are also equipped for M12 PushPull connection technology. The M12 PushPull creates a vibration-proof connection to the switch, which engages with an acoustic signal.
