The HD67078 Profinet slave/M-Bus master gateway is the first in the series of Profinet gateways from Wachendorff. The product enables communication between up to 40 M-Bus slaves and a Profinet master. The configuration for mapping the data is carried out via the Ethernet port of the device and transferred to the device. This means that the configuration is available as a file, can be archived and used with other gateways. The configuration software is intuitive to use. The gateways are designed for top-hat rail mounting and can therefore be integrated into the existing hardware architecture. The operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C and the galvanic isolation allow the gateway to be used in various applications. Other fieldbus protocols such as CAN and Modbus RTU/TCP will be gradually added to the Profinet gateway range.
