Igus has developed the Conprotect protective housing for the protection of USB connectors in industry, which can be clipped around USB connectors in just a few simple steps. In addition, two knurled screws provide a secure fixation. This prevents accidental unplugging. The robust protective housing for plugs can also be used with couplings for flying leads. The covers of the protective housing consist of identical parts that can be fitted together by hand around the plug. The screws can then simply be clipped into place.
