With the help of Lego Mindstorms and Fischertechnik, however, weight, stability and controller problems became apparent in the long run. As a result, the young people built the robot far away from conventional kits - for example, prototype legs made of aluminum were created in cooperation with Voith Paper. The walking robot was programmed with 'MBasic' so that it can move on uneven surfaces with different gaits. It can be controlled remotely via the PlayStation 2 gamepad.
