The Danish company Kongskilde Industries A/S has developed the Vibro Crop Robotti agricultural platform, a stand-alone module with an electric belt drive for connecting various implements. This enables the robot to apply seeds with high precision and mechanically control weeds, especially in row crops. The farmer thus achieves more yield with fewer resources and - thanks to sensor-based measurement technology - protects the environment with targeted fertilizer application and fewer chemicals.
