Danfoss is expanding the ISD 510 with the Ethernet real-time systems Ethercat and Powerlink. The drives are based on permanently excited synchronous motors, with motor and electronics integrated in one housing. The class 3M7 vibration-protected drives comply with protection class IP67, with the shaft seal itself corresponding to IP65. The drive is available with four different flange sizes. Depending on the application, a customized flange is offered as an alternative. For engineering, Danfoss relies on the IEC 61131-3 programming standard and thus offers an open system with libraries with functions for cams, synchronizations and motion functionalities. According to the manufacturer, the servo drives are suitable for applications in the food, beverage and packaging industries.
