The enhanced DE7000 gateway from Schildknecht now allows worldwide connectivity for all mobile networks at a fixed standard rate. The system can transmit signals from all kinds of data sources - such as diagnostic messages from large machines or water levels - to its own portal via mobile radio and Ethernet in adjustable time cycles. There, the data is available to authorized users for retrieval via identical gateways or directly via Internet-enabled devices or is automatically sent to a fixed group of recipients. According to the manufacturer, data transmission is particularly secure as proven encryption methods such as AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) and RSA (Rivest, Shamir and Adleman) are used and a secure server is used. The devices are available in protection classes IP20, IP67 and in an EX-protected version.
