Jenaer Antriebstechnik is expanding its product range with the Ecomplete series of complete linear axes. According to the manufacturer, the axis mechanics, motor and servo amplifier are optimally matched to each other. Spindle axes, toothed belt axes and electric actuators are available. The spindle axes are available in several sizes for feed forces of up to 3500 N and travel distances between 100 and 2500 mm. The toothed belt axes offer feed forces of up to 300 N and strokes between 100 mm and 6000 mm; maximum forces of up to 200 N and strokes between 50 mm and 300 mm are specified for the actuators. The spindle is equipped with a ball screw drive of tolerance class ISO7. The spindle pitches can be selected between 5 mm and 16 mm. Thanks to the use of encoder-commutated synchronous motors from the 'Ecostep' series, the linear axes can be used wherever high dynamics and short response times are required when moving small masses. The Ecostep motors are optionally equipped with holding brakes and gears. Numerous encoder options (incremental, SinCos, absolute) with resolutions of up to 160,000 inc/rev ensure the right positioning accuracy for the application.
