The Indradrive Mi servo drives from Rexroth without control cabinets offer direct access to all drive parameters via high-level language-based applications thanks to open-core engineering and the integrated Open Core Interface for Drives technology. The devices follow a decentralized approach. Machine manufacturers can run stand-alone modules without a control cabinet and network them with each other. All components of the drive train are designed with IP65 protection. Up to 20 drives can be connected in series using hybrid cables. According to the manufacturer, this reduces cabling costs by up to 90 %. The products support all common Ethernet-based protocols such as Sercos, ProfiNet, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT via the multi-Ethernet interface on one hardware. A connection to Profibus is also possible via a gateway.
