The Ölflex Servo FD 7TCE from Lapp complies with a wide range of standards, making it possible to use one and the same cable from the control cabinet or inverter via the cable tray to the machine and in a moving drag chain.This use is independent of whether the application is static, flexible or highly flexible, meaning that machine and plant manufacturers no longer need to keep different cable types in stock. The cable is available with and without additional control pairs for connection to brakes or temperature sensors. The new addition to the portfolio of UL-listed servo motor cables combines numerous properties that have not previously been available in this combination: the cable is resistant to UV light, flame-retardant in accordance with the FT4 fire test and has increased oil resistance in accordance with Oil Res I/II. The conductors consist of fine copper wires, which makes the cable particularly flexible and suitable for tight bending radii - such as those that can occur in cable trays. Thanks to the cross-linked material of the core insulation, the cable has low capacitance, which minimizes the voltage drop over longer installation distances and reduces unwanted leakage currents on the shielding. The cable is UL-listed as a 'TC-ER' flexible cable and 'Flexible Motor Supply Cable', meaning that it can also be wired in the field.
