Sensata Technologies has expanded its 'Nova22' product range to include Crydom's DR45 series solid state relay (SSR) for use in industrial equipment, HVAC applications and rail vehicles.The solid state relays for DIN rail mounting offer a power density of up to 60 A at 40 °C in a compact 45 mm design and are suitable for connecting output conductors up to 3 AWG with IP20 protection. A heat sink is integrated. Cage clamps with finger-safe IP20 protection allow large output conductors to be connected directly to the solid state relay without the need for cable lug terminals or other accessories. As an option, the input connections can be designed as standard screw or tension clamp terminals to cover the widest possible range of applications. The solid state relays offer optional integrated overvoltage protection, various contactor configurations and a choice of AC or DC control voltage. They are available with a wide output voltage range from 48 to 600 V(AC); they are certified in accordance with C-UL-US, VDE, CE and RoHS.
