Weidmüller is launching IO-Link master modules with IP20 and IP67 protection. The product portfolio is supplemented by plug connectors and pre-assembled cables for the bus connection and sensor/actuator cabling. IO-Link devices can be parameterized and configured using a web-based configuration tool. This configuration tool with its intuitive user interface includes an interface to the central, manufacturer-independent database for description files of IO-Link devices (IODDs). The 'IODDfinder' database unites the entire IO-Link world under one roof and enables centralized access to all available IO-Link devices. Together with the 'u-remote' IO-Link master, the company thus offers a complete solution for Industry 4.0/IIoT requirements.
